Bike Ninja’s take
Nukeproof comes from downhill and enduro racing, and the Kilowatt shows it: a 64° head angle and 160mm of fork travel put it at the gravity end of trail riding. It's built for riders who want to descend fast. If you mostly ride gentle bridleways and towpaths, a calmer bike will feel easier.
You can only buy it through a dealer, so you'll buy, set up and service it through a shop. That's no bad thing on an e-bike with this much power, but check there's a dealer within reach: the frame warranty depends on registering the bike within 30 days and a yearly service by a certified dealer.
The brand changed hands in 2025 and is now part of Belgian Cycling Factory, which owns Ridley. The new warranty transfers to a second owner, which helps resale value, but "lifetime" means up to 10 years.
